Christmas Readings
"It came without ribbons! It came without tags! It came without packages, boxes, or bags!…Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.”
~ The Grinch ~
At Roseville New Church, we're committed to embracing and sharing the true meaning of Christmas. As The Grinch said, "It came without ribbons! It came without tags! It came without packages, boxes, or bags!…Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.” That's exactly what we strive to celebrate every year.

Consider for a moment, that the birth of Jesus is not just an event in history, but a mirror reflecting the birth of unselfish love and wisdom within each one of us (Secrets of Heaven 3762.2, 3, 5). Envision a world where Jesus' presence isn't just remembered but is reborn in the crevices of our individual souls, illuminating our inner lives with divine affection and enlightenment.

Such a birth, however, doesn't simply manifest. It beckons us to prepare, to participate. One way to prepare is to spend a few minutes each more reading about and reflecting on the spiritual meaning behind the Bible’s account of the Jesus’ birth.
